Apex Training Institute follows a standard assessment system across all four courses offered to ensure that students are both theoretically knowledgeable and skilled on-the-job

For Unit Assessments

Competent ( C)

A student has completely satisfied all assessments associated with a nationally recognised unit of competency, thereby demonstrating knowledge and skill

Not Yet Competent (NYC)

A student has not completely satisfied all or some of the assessments associated with a particular unit

For Sub-units and Knowledge Checks

Satisfactory (S)

Student has completed one of multiple assessment tools used to assess a particular unit of competency

Not Yet Satisfactory (NYS)

Student has not demonstrated sufficient skill or knowledge yet in order to be satisfactory for one of the multiple assessment tools used to grade a unit of competency
